The Leader Monk is the leader of a group of Monks, who are the primary antagonists in Forbidden Hat of Gold.

History

When Eustace takes the Hat of Gold from its pedestal, he along with Muriel and Courage are captured by the monks. The Leader Monk tells them to return the relic or be sacrificed. Later on he ties Muriel to a stake in-front of a large statue that comes alive. Courage saves her by giving the statue, Leader Monk and the monks all white fur coats that was delivered by Charlie the Mouse.
